Located between Vietnam, Thailand and Laos, Cambodia offers you a handful of opportunities to fully experience the whole of Asia. The capital of this country is Phnom Penh, a city that lies at the confluence of three rivers, the most famous of which is the Mekong, and which is an excellent starting point for further exploration of this country

Cambodia has a tropical climate with average temperatures over 30 degrees for most of the year, and somewhat fresher mountainous areas. The best time to travel is during the dry season from November to April (ideally from November to January), and during the rainy season, between May and October, there is a serious risk of flooding in some areas.

Southwest Cambodia is known for its beautiful white beaches that will make you think you are in the Caribbean for a moment. There are about 60 islands in the vicinity of them, each of which is different and at the same time enchanting.

Sihanoukville city is known as the “beach city” and as the city with the best resorts in Cambodia. Different from other Cambodian provinces, many say that this town is really something special because it exudes positive energy, and on every corner you will see breathtaking scenes, such as kilometers of beaches of the softest white sand.

Koh Rong Island, which is about 45 minutes away from Sihanoukville, is a real little untouched paradise with over 20 beaches. Here you will find beautiful nature, excellent food, and in the evening the most beautiful view of the sunset. Taste the real specialties of Cambodia, fresh seafood prepared in the traditional way, and after a delicious meal, have fun in the clubs located along the beach. The people of Cambodia are considered to be the most cordial people in the whole of Asia, and that is, among other things, what delights many visitors the most, the warmth and their hospitality.

You have not been to Cambodia unless you visit the Angkor temples which are the source of inspiration and national pride of all Khmers. The temples are characterized by a perfect combination of ambition and spiritual devotion, which is why you should not miss their extravagant beauty. Cambodia is a must-see destination for every true world traveler.
